I was reflecting today on the fact that God wants to be our all. And the lyrics to this song came to mind:
You are my strength when I am weak
You are the treasure that I seek
You are my all in all
Seeking You as a precious jewel
Lord, to give up I'd be a fool
You are my all in all
Just a few questions:
1. Do you seek him as a treasure?
2. Do you seek him as a precious jewel?
3. When things don't go your way do you ask him to fix them -- primarily -- or do you ask him to draw you closer and to learn what he wants to teach?
He's supposed to be our all in all.
Man, not one of those questions is easy for me....
